    Built in 1814, The Old Sunday School houses displays telling the story of this fascinating building and the people associated with it. It shows how Macclesfield developed and grew from a market town to an important player in the silk industry, and the range of mills that once thrived there.

  • West Park Museum

    Situated in the beautiful West Park with gardens and children's play area is a purpose built museum housing the Egyptology collections of Marianne Brocklehurst. Also on display are items related to local history and fine art including the work of local artist Charles Tunnicliffe famous for illustrating Tarka the Otter and the Ladybird book series.

  • Paradise Mill

    Take a guided tour of Paradise Mill and step back in time to an early 20th century silk mill. See 26 restored Jacquard looms, hear about the silk industry and watch a weaving demonstration.
